You mean you've never walked over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge?

You’ve crossed it by car or viewed it from afar; now experience this magnificent bridge from a whole new perspective! Walk from Philadelphia to Camden over the mighty Delaware River with author and historian Harry Kyriakodis, who writes Harry K's Encyclopedia for the Hidden City Daily. Harry will give you the straight dope on the construction of what was once the longest suspension bridge in the world, including the hidden spaces inside the anchorages that are closed to the public (and to us, too, unfortunately). Harry literally wrote the book on the history of the waterfront, so he'll also give you the rundown on the past, present and future of waterfront development on both sides of the river.

We'll turn around and walk back to Philly, but if you don't feel like making the return trip on foot you can hop on the PATCO Hi-Speedline.

PLEASE NOTE: this tour is more weather dependent than our other tours, with moderate rain or high wind enough to warrant cancellation.
